Our First Official Day as a University
Kwantlen Polytechnic University celebrates its first official day as a university
on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 with President, David W. Atkinson and
Chancellor designate Arvinder Bubber hosting celebration events with students,
faculty and staff, while giving out complimentary lunches, t-shirts and gifts.
Students, faculty and staff also had the opportunity to get to know President Atkinson.

- a breakfast at the Cloverdale campus,
- mid-morning cookies and coffee at the Langley campus,
- lunch at the Surrey campus,
- a later lunch at the Newton campus, and
- an afternoon cake and tea at the Richmond campus.
