Alumni Panelist Profiles

Meet our diverse group of panelists! 

McKenzie Castle

McKenzie Castle is a graduate from the Community Criminal Justice Program at Kwantlen from 2006. While a student, she played badminton for the Kwantlen Eagles, receiving the National Scholar Award from the Canadian Colleges Athletic Assocation (CCAA) that recognizes outstanding accomplishments and a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. McKenzie currently works with the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch, maintaining and enhancing public safety. In this role she also educations people of safety issues, maintains public relations by liaising with law enforcement and regulatory agencies, and provides advice to the licensees, federal, provincial and municipal officials and the community. Her previous work experience includes working for Consumer Protection BC and the RCMP. 

Stuart Chase
Stuart Chase is the Vice-Chair of the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Alumni Association. He graduated from Kwantlen in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in public relations. Currently employed with the Public Guardian and Trustee (PGT) of British Columbia as their communications officer, Stuart oversees the daily internal, stakeholder, public, and media relations activities of the PGT. Prior experience includes PR and communications work for the Workers' Compensation Board of BC, Pace Group Communications, the Ministry of Attorney General, and media relations for the Province during Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. He is thrilled to be contributing to Kwantlen's alumni relations strategies where he'll work to give back to the university that gave so much to him. He hopes that you'll want to stay as connected to the school as he has. Mr. Chase lives in Vancouver with his wife, kids, and their family pooch.



Jessica Luch

After graduating from the graphic design for marketing bachelor program (GDMA) at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Jessica was hired on at Blender Media, a media firm focused on communications for publicly-traded companies on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges. While working there, she has also been involved in the task of launching a fashion magazine, The Fashion Guard, as well as writing for Applied Arts magazine, all while managing to make time for her freelance fashion photography.
