Our final exam in December uses an emergency planning
theme. Here the students run scenarios as the Kwantlen
Ham Radio Club assisting emergency services in the aftermath
of a disaster. Industry professionals assess the students in
their performance.

Students run a Tri-Service Communications Centre during
their final exam to portray a "day in the life". Their field units
are comprised of professionals from police, fire and ambulance
services who add an element of the unknown to the day. These
professionals provide valuable feedback to the students.
