Office Supplies

Kwantlen Polytechnic University is participating with the BC Education Cooperative Purchasing Group in a program with Grand & Toy for general office supplies.

Please print the Grand & Toy Account Set-up application, complete and send to Supply and Business Services Department through intercampus mail. After our office process the application Grand and Toy Staff will contact you.

If your department or division has changed location, please let us know the individuals involved at supply@kwantlen.ca so we can update your delivery location.

The Program provides:

  • Minimum discount of 47% on all office supplies (except where price shows NET, no discount applies)
  • Additional 10% quantity discounts on many Grand & Toy Private Label product.

  • Key Account Manager's Assistant inside the Grand & Toy's Vancouver Distribution Centre to be the "single point" of contact to provide support services to you when necessary – contact the Manager at 604.323.7596 or 1-866-391-8111
  •  NOTE: Accounts are coded to specific department. If you move please advise us at supply@kwantlen.ca

  2. Phone using the hardcopy of the Office Products Catalogue
  3. Personal Shopping, when necessary at any Grand & Toy Retail Centres

Ordering by the Internet

You need to have an account set up by Supply and Business Services to establish an internet account with Grand & Toy, please submit the form above to supply@kwantlen.ca

Once this request has been received at Supply and Business Service Office, it will be forwarded to Grand & Toy. Grand & Toy will email you with your user name, password and brief guide to get you started. If you still have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office by calling local 2060 or email us at supply@kwantlen.ca

  1. Login at www.grandandtoy.com
  2. Enter your user name
  3. Enter your password
  4. Start shopping online – Not to Exceed $500 and Not to Include Furniture or Computer Hardware
  5. Deliveries will be made next day to your Campus Copy Centre, for all order placed before 4pm.
  6. Returns will now require a Return Authorization number. Please call 1.866.391.8111 for all returns, exchanges, damaged goods & short shipments. Goods cannot be returned without this number. You can return all regular "in-stock" office products in the complete and original packaging including all manuals and accessories within 30 days of delivery. The returns can be made by taking them back to Shipping/Receiving, along with the Packing Slip, where they will be picked up by the Grand & Toy Courier on their next visit.

Shopping Online

Once you have your Password, you will receive assistance and support on how to use the Grand & Toy website that offers the following benefits:

  1. Inventory stocked in Vancouver, and prices shown in Canadian Dollars with the shipping cost are included
  2. Pricing is current, accurate, and contains Kwantlen's specific discounts
  3. Operates on-line, real time, server based system, and with live inventory information to help you control or eliminate backorders.
  4. Multiple approval levels to monitor departments budget before the order is placed
  5. Customizable features that allow you to schedule orders for delivery on specific days, create unique order templates, or to view and re-order commonly used items.

All transactions will be reported monthly to Accounts Payable by Grand & Toy's Cost Centre Management System to provide both department cost allocation information to Finance, and a Summary Report of all Purchases back to each Department. VISA Purchasing Cards will not be used for these Purchases.

Shopping by Phone

A Grand & Toy Office Products Catalogue is available by contacting Grand & Toy, to assist when placing phone or internet orders. You will need to provide your Department's Organization Code at time of ordering. All transactions will be Reported monthly to Accounts Payable by Grand & Toy's Cost Centre Management System to provide both department cost allocation information to Finance, and a Summary Report of all Purchases back to each Deparment.

Personal Shopping

You will need to apply in advance for a Cost Centre Retail Purchasing Card. Personal Shopping will be authorized on a limited basis with unique requirements. Please contact the Supply Management Office at local 2060 if you require this service. Grand & Toy Retail Centres are located at Guildford Town Centre and Richmond Centre.
