About the KHSS:
The Kwantlen History Students' Society was founded in 2006 to promote activities related to the study of history at Kwantlen. It is a student-led club which welcomes all Kwantlen students, staff, and faculty to participate. The Society has held movie nights, a swing dance, BBQs, and pub nights.
Beginning in the 2007- 2008 school year, the KHSS has presented three scholarships to Kwantlen students. They hold events throughout the year to raise money for the following year’s scholarships and to promote the History Programs at Kwantlen.
This year's fundraising pub night & silent auction will be held on June 30, 2011, at the Delta Lion Pub - 11186 84th Ave, Delta BC. For event tickets ($20) please contact Brianne.Kirkby@kwantlen.net or Lauren.Blake@kwantlen.net
The KHSS is committed to the education of Kwantlen students of History. From our small club we give scholarships to the minds of students who may become great historians and carry on in honour of those who came before us.
