At our first Celebration of Excellence, FYE recognized the following peoples:

• TOP 25 First Year Grade Point Average Students: These students will be selected based on grades from the Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 semesters.
  
• Student Passport completion: Congratulations to all First Year students who have gained 500 points or more through the use of their First Year passport. Passports must be turned in to the FYE office (Surrey Campus, D107) before MAY 5th. Students who have met these requirements will be invited to the Celebration of Excellence and have their names entered into a prize draw!
  
• Staff Service: Student nominates staff members who made an exceptional effort and a positive impact! view 2006 recipients
  
• Teaching Excellence: Student nominated instructors who stood out and made a real difference in a student's life at Kwantlen! view 2006 recipients
  
• Student Leadership: For students who have contributed their time and efforts through FYE iniatives to make the Kwantlen community a better place for all!
  
• Club leaders: FYE Club leaders volunteer their time and efforts to give students valuable experiences, contacts, and more!
