FAQ's

WHAT IS BOOT CAMP?
During boot camp you are lead through moderate-to-high intensity strength and cardio exercises designed to challenge your strength and endurance. The workout moves quickly, taking you from one exercise to the next with little or no rest. In boot camp, your challenge is to take your body to its limit. You work, you sweat and, best of all, you burn calories like crazy!

Boot camp workouts are:

·         Efficient - You work your whole body in a short period of time

·         Fun - each exercise is different so you don't get bored

·         Suitable for all fitness levels – make is as challenging as you want

·         Great calorie burners!

WHAT KIND OF EXERCISES ARE INVOLVED?

The Boot Camp workout involves calisthenics like pushups, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, jump rope, squats, planks, and lunges. Time is also spent on agility drills to help improve coordination and reaction time.  Many of the exercises require little or no equipment; rather they use body weight to improve strength and endurance.

The exercises can be modified whenever necessary to stay safe and avoid injury.  The hour boot camp class also involves a gradual warmup, cool down and stretch.
