Library Instruction Request Form

Students learn and retain most when they have a need to know.  Library skills classes are ideally offered to students who are about to conduct research that involves the use of library resources.  For this reason, please consider scheduling the session close to the time when the students will begin their research.

• If an assignment is involved, please ensure the students have received their assignment prior to the library instruction session, and that a copy is sent to the librarian assigned to teach the class.
• Classes will be scheduled for 60 minutes unless otherwise requested
• Please note that most library sessions include hands-on activities to support a collaborative teaching environment and student learning

Requests need to be sent at least 10 days in advance of the instruction date.  Confirmations will be sent within 3 working days

When your session is confirmed, you will be informed who your library instructor will be and any further correspondence can proceed directly between you and the librarian.
