Institute for Sustainable Horticulture receives historic donation
On November 17, Kwantlen Polytechnic University has received a $250,000 donation from The Richberry Group - Canada's largest cranberry producer. The gift marks the single largest donation received by Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the Institute for Sustainable Horticulture. This donation will go towards the LEEF Chair for the Institute which is building research programs in sustainable landscapes, urban agriculture, new biocontrol products, new growing systems and ‘green’ greenhouse energy systems and controls for greenhouses.
