Test and Evaluation Scanning
IET provides support for the Test and Evaluation Scanning service of the University. IET technicians configure and maintain the scanners used in this service to ensure that they are working correctly. This includes form alignment and other configuration. IET also maintains the Evaluation database and performs all standard tasks relating to its maintenance on the server.
Eligibility
This service is available to Kwantlen Polytechnic University employees responsible for performing this function.
IET Responsibilities
- Provide (where necessary), suitable training and documentation.
- Perform troubleshooting when problems are reported with the scanners.
- Assist in evaluating new scanning technology related to this service.
- Perform all Server Administration tasks related to the server upon which this service relies.
- Perform all Disk Management tasks related to the server upon which this service relies.
- Perform all Back-up and Recovery service tasks related to the server upon which this service relies.
- Record related inquiries and assign each a unique tracking number.
- Assign all inquiries a service priority.
