Material Safety Data Sheet
Use the Kwantlen Polytechnic University on-line MSDS system to find the Material Safety Data Sheet you need.
This service is provided by the Occupational Health & Safety Agency for Healthcare in BC (OHSAH) and can be accessed from a campus computer with the appropriate password provided by the Health & Safety department.
The OHSAH system offers many interesting features including:
- Ability to search by chemical name, trade name, CAS# or synonym.
- Many levels of instruction and help screens.
- Ordering or removing MSDS for individual departments
- One page summaries, mini MSDS reports and chemical incident advisory reports in addition to standard MSDS reports.
- Rich graphics that depict Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and cautionary symbols.
- Specific information on first aid, emergency response, notes to a physician, transportation, fire fighting and much more.
- Links to database of supplier MSDS reports.
