Turf Management
"I attended Kwantlen from 1995 to 1997 and I found the experience outstanding. The course content and instructors were instrumental in pursing my career in Turfgrass Management. Through my years as a Golf Course Superintendent, I have constantly gone back to my education at Kwantlen to assist me in maintaining the golf course. As well, the contacts I made during my time at Kwantlen have helped me tremondously both professionally and personally. I would never hesitate to recommend Kwantlen to my staff and peers." - Neil Pilon, 1997 Graduate

What is Horticulture ?
Horticulture surrounds us, enriching our communities and our lives. Horticulturists produce fruits, flowers and plants in greenhouses and nurseries. They design, install and maintain parks and gardens in our communities. And horticulturists maintain our sports fields and golf courses ensuring we have safe, fair and enjoyable athletic competitions.
Why Choose Horticulture?
Horticulture offers you the opportunity to:
• advance community sustainability
• solve technical challenges
• be entrepreneurial
• produce food, flowers, and nursery plants
• be creative

Many graduates seek employment in the golf industry, but opportunities exist in a broad range of related businesses or public sector jobs.
Kwantlen's Turf Management graduates can:
