Community Gardens
Students have identified that student hunger is a social issue. There are two initiatives currently underway. The first is a pilot Food Bank through embarking on a Christmas Drive Food Project where employees and students can contribute food for student hampers. The second project is the Westerman Community Garden where several faculties will contribute their time and expertise to grow food for the student population.
Potential projects include: development of a plan for an ongoing student food bank, development of a proposal and engagement of other faculties; please see the community garden tab for ongoing development and projects associated with this project.
