Kwantlen Polytechnic University offers university bachelor's degrees and applied programs to nearly 17,000 students at campuses in Surrey, Richmond and Langley. To accommodate and improve instructional and academic support for students, the province has committed to a $36 million funding partnership with Kwantlen for the expansion of three buildings on the Surrey Campus on 72nd Avenue and 128th Street.

Campus Expansion Highlights

  • Overall, the expansion will increase instructional and academic support space by 42% or 11,000 sq.m.
  • It will expand Building D by adding 1260 sq.m. of instructional and academic support space for 390 students. Scheduled for completion Spring 2006.
  • It will expand Building A Library by adding 5220 square metre to expand the services to the recommended capacity for a University serving the size of Kwantlen's student population.
  • It will expand Building C by adding 4300 sq.m. of student services,seminar rooms, mid-size classrooms, a study area, computer labs and other enhanced student services.
