Because Kwantlen does not have any on-campus housing facilities, we have developed a partnership with First Choice International Placement Inc. First Choice is an organization that provides homestay placements for incoming students. The Homestay Program allows students to live in a Canadian home as a member of the family, sharing meals with their hosts, participating in family activities and conversations, and establishing friendships with people who can help make the adjustment to the new environment much easier. If you would not like a homestay placement you may secure your own accommodation independently.
When selecting housing take into account the location, safety of neighbourhood, price, quality, commute time to your campus (visit the translink website to determine public transit commute times), proximity to desired extra-curricular activities and expected move in/move out dates.
