Emergency Loans

Emergency Loans are available for students who are experiencing an unexpected delay with their student loans. Additional information, including eligibility and how to apply, can be obtained from Student Awards and Financial Assistance located on any campus.

Emergency Bursaries

Bursary assistance may be available for those students who can demonstrate an unexpected financial emergency and/or one-time extraordinary expense during their study period. Please note - that in order to be considered for funding, it must be established that the circumstance poses an immediate threat to the student's current financial situation.

Bursaries are non-repayable awards which are allocated primarily on the basis of assessed financial need. However, they should not be treated as the major source of funding. Instead, this assistance should be considered as a supplementary grant, which may not be awarded every term.
