Our Program Philosophy
We strongly believe that the overall mission of our program is to develop strong student athletes who will become outstanding leaders, family members, and contributors to their communities. As baseball is a team sport, we must develop an approach to the game that focuses on being prepared as an individual while fitting into the team concept. By doing so, we hope that our players will be able to move on in their academic and baseball endeavors.
Our coaching staff is committed to developing each student athlete to the extent that when he leaves our program, he is a better player and is able to make an immediate transition to the next level of baseball. We have an open door policy that allows our student athletes to discuss their educational situation, baseball concerns, or any other topic with which they may need some assistance. We firmly believe that the post-secondary experience plays an important role in the development of good citizens. We are committed to ensuring that our players have a positive experience while at Kwantlen.
We are looking forward to the continued development of the baseball tradition that we have established at Kwantlen for many years to come.
