Gym Rental Fees
Effective April 15, 2009
Rental fees are charged according to the three groups (internal, external, sponsor) shown below. During regular staff hours Monday to Friday, groups will not normally be assessed any additional fees for supervision or facility services for gym rentals, unless additional supervisory or facility services are required, as determined by the Director of Athletics and Recreation. Outside of regular supervision hours, some rental groups may be required to pay additional supervision and/or facility fees, as indicated in the Rental Agreement, and those costs will be borne by the user. There is a minimum 4 hour charge for rentals on Saturdays.
Definitions
Internal - Kwantlen Polytechnic University students, staff or faculty renting the gymnasium for external events and/or any activities after hours.
System Partner / Alumni – Any alumni, agency, organization or community group that has an ongoing working relationship with Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
External – For all external non-affiliated groups.

Supervision Fees:
Supervision charges will be applied t o bookings made outside of regular supervision hours.
$12/hour (minimum of 4 hours)
Facility Fees:
Facility fees will be applied to bookings made outside of regular Security Hours. If an event is held on a Sunday or Statutory Holiday, there will be an open building charge with a minimum of 4 hours in accordance with the University operating charges.
Regular Supervision Hours:
Charges are applied to bookings made outside of regular supervision hours (min. 4 hours)
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Regular Facility Hours:
Charges are applied to bookings made outside of regular facility hours
Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM
Saturday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
