Facility use

The gymnasium is open for all Kwantlen students, staff and faculty use year round. It is open for community members to drop-in from during May – August. Note: Drop-in fees apply.

Please be prepared to show your Kwantlen ID card at the Recreation desk prior to entering the facility.

Conduct and Attire

Conduct
All users of Kwantlen Polytechnic University recreational facilities and/or participants in instructional programs must adhere to Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Code of Conduct. Loud, foul or abusive language and/or behavior will not be tolerated and may result in suspension of privileges.

Attire
Appropriate fitness clothing and footwear must be worn at all times; t-shirts, shorts, sweat-pants, yoga pants and non-marking shoes are considered appropriate. Sandles, flip-flops, jeans and bare feet are not permitted (bare-feet will be accepted for yoga). The management and staff on duty reserve the right to determine the suitability of exercise attire by all patrons.

No food (including chewing gum) or drinks are permitted in the gymnasium. Water in a sealed container (i.e. water bottle) is acceptable.


Equipment use 

Usage of Equipment
All gymnasium users must observe the instructions and abide the safety regulations as set by the Department of Athletics and Recreation. Equipment is for indoor use only and must not be removed from the gymnasium.  All equipment must be returned to the recreation desk following use.  Members will be responsible for any damages caused to the equipment during their use.
