The Access Programs for People with Disabilities teach the essential skills to become successful students, capable employees and valuable members of the community.
Program Goals
Access Programs for People with Disabilities (APPD) programs and services provide post-secondary education for adults with various disabilities. These programs and services work together to prepare students for employment, volunteer work or further education.
Program Options
- Work Exploration is designed to provide information to students about work opportunities.
- Job Preparation is designed to meet the vocational needs of students seeking competitive employment.
- Vocational Skills Training offers five programs designed to provide specific skills training and work experiences.

Job Placement Services
Job Placement Services are available to Kwantlen students (and community members) who require assistance finding and maintaining employment.
Employment Potential
APPD programs are designed to develop work-related skills, increase self-awareness and self esteem. With instruction and training, students work toward realizing their employment and personal potential.
Certification
A Certificate of Completion is awarded to students who have successfully completed a program.
